Sic Bo Explained

Sic bo , known as amongst other names as tai sai , dai siu , big and small or hi-lo, and is an unequal game of chance played with three dice, of ancient Chinese origin. Grand hazard and chuck-a-luck some variants, and of these are the English adaptation of the original games. The literal meanings of the above mentioned names are dice pair or dice bowl, lucky dice and big small respectively.

Sic bo is a popular casino game in Asia and widely played (only known as dai siu) in casinos in Macau. The Philippinos play it as hi-lo (not like the skilled game of online poker). USA got the game because Chinese immigrants in the early 20th century brought it with them, and can now be found in most American casinos. It can be played legally in the United Kingdom in casinos who have the apropiate licenses of course, under the terms specified by the United Kingdom.
